The OSS is in touch with many of our sport stars and scanning social media for the most fun skills and games to pass on to you to keep our minds and bodies active during the coronavirus lockdown.
While it is a strange time, it is also a great opportunity for us to practise skills without the pressure of games or tournaments to worry about. We can just have fun. If it works, great, if it doesn’t, who cares? But we can have a great laugh with family while we’re trying! Andy and Jamie Murray show us their skills – with plenty of laughs – and Judy Murray lets her ‘other son’ Duncan out of the attic to have a go too … he has a bit of practise to do, but keep it up Dunc!
John Collins and daughter Hannah show us some simple football skills that helped John become a Scotland star, and we have a range of ideas from boccia to hockey to rugby – watch out for Glasgow Warriors and Scotland scrum-half George Horne setting you a challenge to match Loch Lomond youngsters Callum and Sam.
Check out our new page here with some great tips for working on our skills during the lockdown and let us know what you think – and send in your ideas.
