Opening the Play the Game Conference in Eindhoven, OSS Director says ‘the joy of sport and movement is what it is all about”. Praising the development of European partnerships and innovations Henrik says there is no room for complacency. Global obesity is epidemic and this is not just the problem of sport but how can sport deliver on the social impacts that are causing this epidemic. How does sport challenge itself to meet the changing waves of social change? How do we think and rethink what is needed and take a look at our governance and structures? Where are we failing to engage people across all ages and stages in the joy of sport? In Scotland OSS is launching our observatory for sport (OSS) so that we can bring objective, evidence-led discussion and debate to our country in the way that Denmark and Netherlands have done. Join us. We need to create sport for all people together.
